"Dear Tom McIntyre, PH.D.:
We are students in a self-contained EBD class.  We go to Liberty Middle School in (town name deleted).  We are learning about our classification- EBD, and what it means.  We have just learned what EBD is, and we have been in school for seven to ten years!  We are trying to learn how to control ourselves when we get angry at one another.  We want to show other kids and their parents and teachers all about EBD.   We were really impressed with your book and want to use it as a source for a web page that we are creating for other middle schools in our county.  There are six middle schools in our county.  We promise to give you full credit for anything we use, and we will not plagiarize."
Thank you,
Coach B's Class

"I like how you put what kids say in your book.  I like to hear what they say. You're treating kids very nicely, and you're treating kids with respect.  Some teachers don't treat kids with as much respect as you do, so , I think you're a very special teacher."

3. "I've read your book The Behavior Survival Guide For Kids & I want to say it helped me say "I" not "YOU".  I learned other stuff but that was the main thing I had trouble with & thank you...
