The student is required to make that
mistake over and over again (perhaps 10 to 20 times). It is hoped
that this practice would make him/her so aware of that section that s/he
would be very cautious approaching it in the future, and thus avoid the
mistake.
Do we want our kids with LD to practice the wrong
way to do academic tasks, thus ingraining the incorrect manner?
