I've been asked how the name of this site (Dr. Mac's Amazing Behavior Management Advice Site) was derived.  Here's the explanation:

Knowing that folks are searching the internet with terms such as "behavior" and "discipline" that bring up thousands of sites, I wanted people to visit mine... It is free and helpful, unlike the vast majority of others that are designed to sell you something.  I figured that a word like "Amazing" would catch the reader's eye and cause them to visit.  Did it work like that in your case?

I wanted them to know that someone experienced, trained, and knowledgeable in positive behavior change strategies was at the helm.  The "Dr." serves that purpose.  I wanted a "friendly" place where teachers could learn in a relaxed environment, thus the informal "Mac" instead of the family name "McIntyre".  The look of the site also contributes to this focus: hokey, humorous, and looking like a book's table of contents.

Why hasn't it been improved with regard to look and function?  I'm minimally competent at web site design and function, and am stuggling just to keep this version working.  If I had the dollars (Anyone want to donate to the cause?) I'd hire a web site consultant.  But until I win the lottery, what you see now is what you'll see when you visit again.
